I arrived at the training ground 26 after a little walk around the village and started preparing for the next set of training I have to do.
'System, I am counting on you.'
The system actually has an ability or function that allows it to control some of my free chakra that I am not controlling, even outside of my body. meaning if I used chakra threads and stopped controlling them then the system can control them while I focus on something else.
which means that almost all the jutsu that only use pure chakra can be controlled by system, meaning forming Rasengun is going to be a walk in the park (Since I can just leave it to System), Which, more or less, means that the shape transformation of the chakra is handled by the system.
If somebody doesn't know what a Shape Transformation of Chakra is then it's an advance form of Chakra control which helps in creation of jutsu and helps purely to manipulate chakra.
And now the system is going to help me in training by controlling my chakra.
'Alright I am casting the genjutsu.'
I warned the system and casted a genjutsu on myself after which I stopped controlling it and let system take control of it instead.
Now the genjutsu was being controlled by the system while I was standing in the training ground. this training ground was just a large clearing in the forest that surrounds the village of konoha, there nothing really was like a training ground.
Soon I heard the rustling of leaves and in front of me, jumped down a person wearing ninja cloths that were completely black. even his face and hair were hidden behind a mask.
I was expecting someone to arrive so I just took a taijutsu stance that the previous owner of this body used to use. I waited for 'it' to start and attack me.
This was the training method I had in mind. I will also start using ninjutsu in this as well when I am more proficient in using ninjutsu. Unfortunately I can't train genjutsu with this method. I thought I would be able to train genjutsu by casting genjutsu on myself and maintaining it, but then I would not be able to train how I want.
Yes. I want to spar with an illusion as my training and if I am the one controlling the person in the illusion, I will know all of its future moves because I am the one who ordered it to use those moves, which will just make this entirely fruitless since i want experience more. That's the point where the system comes into play. It will control the illusion and give me a much needed fighting experience as well as training.
A few seconds after I took the fighting stance, the person in the illusion or lets call it puppet, sprinted towards me while throwing three shuriken at me at the same time. One aimed at me directly, While the other two, at my left and right. I moved backwards while tilting my head to dodge the shuriken thrown at me directly.
The puppet and I initially had a distance of about 7 to 8 meters between us and the shurikens were manageable for me to at the very least see them coming, so with a little difficulty I managed to dodge them.
But soon the puppet was upon me. it took out a kunai from out of nowhere and started slashing at me from upwards. I focused on his kunai and took out my own kunai to block the slash but then suddenly a kick landed on my stomach making me drop my kunai. The puppet then pressed his kunai at my neck and we stopped moving for a few seconds.
'I lost.' I admitted after a while.
I was expecting it to last a little bit more longer but this is how it is. I was disappointed. It shouldn't have been like this. If only I had focused harder or maybe, if I had kept going back or maybe if I had remembered that it had four limbs or maybe, if I had Sharingun- I took a deep breath and smiled.
I was disappointed at my own performance even if it is the first fight I fought. But at the same time, In the entire fight, Even though it was short, I was getting excited the entire time. When it started sprinting towards me, when it threw kunais at me, when I blocked them, when it was right in front of me with a kunai and when I decided to block its attack by my own kunai, It was really all so exciting.
"huhu..." The quickening of my heart beat and my speeding breath at the time of fight, remembering all those made me chuckle.
I again took a deep breath and took the fighting stance, the guy before I came,most of the time took.
'Alright, let's start, again.'
As soon as I announced the puppet this time started moving backwards while throwing shurikens at me. It was throwing three shurikens at a time and they were coming at me with the same speed as before.
Two of the first three shurikens were aimed at my upper and lower body while the last one was aimed at my left. I moved at the right to dodge and found another three coming at me. All three aimed at the different part of my body.
By taking advantage of the force from my earlier movement and pushed myself more to the right.
And surprise-surprise, look at that, Three more are coming straight here. one to my upper body, one to my lower body and the last to the right. because of my momentum I can't go back to the left and instead, am being pushed to the right, while can't titl my head because this time two are coming at me.
Finding no way out I froze momentarily, two shurikens hit me and exploded in smock. and I just stood there.
'...'
[...]
'System, don't use shurikenjutsu from now on in the spar. Until I know how to handle them.'
[Understood.] The system said. I have no experience in blocking shurikens that is also why I always dodged them. I know this body is capable of blocking them easily as well but I need more practice with them.
*sigh*
This time, I was starting to become frustrated. there was no excitement anymore, only slight frustration. I sighed to calm that frustration and again took the stance.
'Alright! Come at me!'
And after a few hours of that and my first day of training came to an end. After finishing up and taking a little break to give my tired body some rest, I departed from the training ground. The genjutsu I used at the start, did not stop my body from moving. I was still using my body to spar an illusion, which is also why I was tired, physically as well. And also, since it was an illusion if my fist or kunai landed a hit on it, Yeah IF they did because they f*ckink didn't!, they would just pass through them.
At any rate, After I left the training ground I headed to the Ninja's Hood. It was a shop that sells most of the things a ninja might need. Also it is selling in konoha by the orders and permission of the beautiful hokage, Tsunade Senju. It is some kind of official place you can buy your things from without worrying of its quality or it being defected product. Because the hokage herself sends someone to check it unannounced.
That's why I was heading there and also to get some stuff. I would need to get groceries on the way home so I decided to do this first. And since it would have almost all the things a ninja might need you can probably call it a ninja mall, but that term is not used here in this world so store is what it is called.
After a while I arrived at the store and directly went to the 'seals' section of the store. There were two staffs there, one of which was occupied so I moved to the free staff.
"Excuse me, I need gravity seal for training."
"I see, there are three different gravity seals that increases your gravity and one seal that decreases it which would you like to have, sir."
"There are gravity seals that decreases gravity?"
"Yes, Most ninjas use them to make themselves lighter which helps them becoming faster. would you like to have one of those?" The staff asked.
"No, please just tell me about the gravity seals that increases my weight."
"Yes, certainly. So as I have said before there are three gravity seals that increases your gravity, each increases the gravity but some increase more then others. The first increases the gravity by 100 kg and costs 1,000 Ryo, second one increases it to 250 kg and costs 10,000 Ryo, third costs 50,000 Ryo and it increases gravity to 500 kg. All the gravity seals are the same size and so they can all be ingraved on your arm or even your leg so being too big is out of the option. Now which one would you like to have?" The employee explained calmly.
"The one that increases gravity to 250 kg, would be nice." I didn't really have the money problem thanks to the previous guy saving more then a hundred thousand Ryo for me, but I still decided to be moderate.
"Umm, Also...Is there a smithy here? I would like to order an equipment to be made." I asked while handing over 10,000 Ryo which is about 2 of B Rank mission's payment.
"Unfortunatly, No, sir. but I can give you the address from where we order equipment for selling. Conveniently it is also within konoha and also not too far from here. So you can go there. Of course, only if that's okay with you."
"Yeah! Thank you for that." I said.
After getting the address of the smithy I walked out of the store and towards the smithy. it was already evening when I stopped the training and soon it would be night and I also have to buy groceries.
Thinking along the lines I sped up and quickly reached the smithy. it really was nearby.
Entering it, I was immediately made aware of the surrounding temperature. It was definitely reaching above 50°C, at the very least.
