I have been on a genshin hiatus for a while now I honestly got a little bored of the game but obviously I came back for 7.0 and I must say I loved it.
If 7.1 keeps that going I'm so motivated to write another book! Infact I actually have two books in mind or potential books in mind which I'd be happy to write.
The following are those two ideas:
A regular guy from Mondstadt with no real goals, no fear of death, and no strong feelings about being alive one way or the other. He wanders between nations on a whim — better snacks in Liyue, heard something mildly interesting about Natlan, whatever. Gets into dangerous situations constantly, not because he's brave but because he simply doesn't register them as a problem.
Ronova notices him the way you notice something that shouldn't be possible. He should have died. Multiple times. And every time he came close he just... didn't react. No fear, no desperation, no last-second will to live. Just mild inconvenience and then moving on.
It bothers her more than she'd like to admit. So she stops claiming his soul — not to protect him, but because she refuses to give him an easy exit until he gives her what she's waiting for. One genuine moment of fear. One acknowledgement that death means something.
He never gives it to her. He doesn't even realise he's become unkillable for a while, and when he figures it out he finds it more mildly amusing than anything else.
So she keeps turning up. He keeps not dying. And somewhere in the middle of that standoff something shifts, though neither of them would be the first to say so.

The Primordial One built Teyvat, unmade Khaenri'ah, and ran everything from a throne so far above the world he'd never touched the ground. Then one day he looks at all of it and decides he's bored.
So he leaves. No note, no handover, just a new face, a fake name, and his first steps into a world he designed but never actually lived in. Turns out ground level is different. Legendary heroes and archon sightings do nothing for him, but a dumpling stall in a Liyue back alley? An hour. A pond with interesting fish? Best thing in centuries.
Meanwhile Celestia is quietly falling apart, the Tsaritsa's world-ending weapon is aimed at an empty throne, and Ronova — who was punished by him once and has spent ages since being the perfect loyal servant just to feel safe — can't even confirm where he went.
He's not sorry for anything he's done. He's not hiding. He just finally, inexplicably, decided to show up.

It's been a while and I can say that my writing has definitely improved.
