Chapter 111 - CHOICES

Jordan sat on his bed. He couldn't believe that it had been just a year ago when he made the deal with Beta and now she had done her part of the deal. Now he was supposed to do his.

Nahor had fallen for Neya. Everyone knew that. They could see it in the way in Nahor had changed in everything that he did.

His behavior, his actions and every little detail about him.

Then what would happen next if he fulfilled his part of the deal and let Neya go. No not Neya. His bestfriend's wife whom he had learned to love. Who brought a change upon him. Who changed him into something that no one else could.

Nahor had fallen in love. Neya hadn't fallen in love with Nahor. She was just doing part of her deal. Would she really care a damn if Nahor felt so heart broken, betrayed and denied? Would it really matter to get

Now Jordan was going to make a choice. Was he going to choose Nahor, his bestfriend's happiness or Neya's happiness, someone he had grown to love and form a special connection with.

Was he going to make the right choice or was he going to end up in a complete tangle . He had to think first. Today was the anniversary. He needn't make any mistake.

Nahor moved in the garden looking at the splendor and serene beauty it possessed. He remembered the time he spent with Neya in that one part of the garden and gave out a smile.

It was few ours to the anniversary, to the propsa and to the passionate moment.

How did such a simple girl like Neya capture his heart.? He wondered.

It had just been a year and he never knew that a day like this would come when he would fall in love .

His strong cold heart had melted away. For the first time in a long time he had changed.

Remembering his past and all and why thy came to Earth, he thought.

Once he had Neya, nothing would overpower him. She was all he needed. He would go complete his last mission on The Fairy isle once and for all. Then he would live happily with Neya by his side not forgetting his best friend Jordan who had always been by his side since childhood.

He didn't know Neya's true feelings towards him. Once the anniversary finally clocked he would ask her then propose to her and he would hold another special grand wedding just for them.

Though Neya and him never spoke that much, the love and care for each other always displayed in their eyes. Now was th moment to finally confess their feelings.

Neya had been his wife for one year. There was no reason for Neya not to love him. He had the looks the body and whatever every woman desired. Why would she not love him back. According to him he was perfect. Every girl's dream.

He was waiting. Just a few more hours. He would find out the truth. He looked at the moon and said a short prayer. Then there was this one and bright star he noticed.

Then he said," Father, if you are there, well by now you should know that your son is already married and he is going to start a fresh once more. I was never a good husband but now I am willing to be one. Please give me your blessings. I know she is the right one for me,"

As he ended his statement , the star slowly faded away. "Thank you Father, I know you have heard me and I promise to avenge you"

Neya, today I can't wait to tell you that "I love you" he said as he brought out the diamond ring he had had made specially for her.

Neya looked outside her bedroom window. It was large. She had spent a year there. Learnt how to understand Nahor and made friends with Jordan and the palace servants.

Now was she making the right choice? Leaving all this behind especially Nahor. Would he take it. Was she being selfish?

She had made her choice. She was leaving. Nothing was more important to her than her grandma who had taken care of her since childhood, been by her side and defended her.

She was going. She said as she looked out beyond the palace. But too bad there was nothing she could see. But she would see it soon.

"I am sorry Nahor. I know I will break you but I have to go. Jordan you have to fulfill your part of the deal. I'm coming"

Neya took a last look outside and then started heading out towards the door but her reflection in the mirror caught her eyes. She was beautiful. She was still on the dress Nahor brought for her . This was her wedding anniversary. She was a wife.

Did it really matter to her though it was just a deal. She felt her heart ache. Was she making a wrong choice? Had she or had she not fallen for Nahor? Did she care one bit about his feelings?

Whether she did or did not. She didn't want to think about it. She had already made her choice.

All those moments ,the memories passed quickly through her mind as she looked into the mirror.

The events of that evening flashed through her mind as she remembered the kiss she shared with Nahor.

Didn't all that ever matter to her?

A year dropped from her eye and she quickly wiped it away with her hands. She couldn't turn back, not right now.

"I'm sorry,"she said.

Jordan sat on his bed. He knew Neya would arrive anytime from then. What was he going to tell her. He couldn't sacrifice Nahor's happiness and risk all that he planned from the beginning. The whole reason why he brought Neya. He wouldn't give in. He made a wrong choice by lying to Nahor. He wouldn't do another by betraying him destroying his happiness.

Come hail or storm Neya, you are staying here with Nahor.

"I am also sorry" Jordan said as he stood up from his bed.
