The first thing I did after they left was pack up and move.
Not far, just about six hundred metres along the shelf and up over a shoulder of rock, into a hollow you couldn't see from the col.
Spending twenty minutes moving camp in the dark probably sounds excessive, but well... eleven people had just spent a solid minute looking at exactly where I was sitting, and at least one of them was going to talk about it.
Haah...
That's the annoying part about winning a fight that nobody ever tells you about.
It ends the fight, sure. It doesn't end the day.
Laying out the shelter sheet, I got maybe halfway through the job before I heard something coming up the scree behind me.

The bow was in my hand with an arrow on the string before I'd properly decided to do either of those things.
