" I came from a realm beyond your understanding. The watcher said "my purpose is to watch over your, and to lend aid when it is needed, and as for what can you do to help, the answer answer is simple you must live your lives with kindness, compassion and understanding. You must treat one another with respect and work together for the greater good. If you do this,then you will be able to overcome any obstacle that comes your way. The people nodded and the watcher continued.
"And remember that darkness may try to return,but as long as you stand together,united in purpose and in spirit, you will always be able to drive it back.
For light, when joined together is stronger than any darkness that may come. "The people of the village looked at each other and they knew that the watcher spoke the truth from that day on they worked together to rebuild their homes, to care for one another and to keep the light shining in their world.
The watcher remained with the people for many years guiding and protecting them, and as time passed they came to think of the watcher not as a stranger but as a friend. And when the time came for the watcher to leave, the people were sad to see him go. But they know that the watcher's word would always remain with them. And so it was that the watcher left the village but it's legacy lived on in the heart of the people for they have learned that the greatest weapon against darkness was not a sword or shield but the light that shone from within.
