Shen Mingfeng didn't dodge at all; he just sat there, letting her hit him, letting her vent her anger.
Jiang Meilin finally got tired of hitting him, so she stopped her hands, staring blankly at him with his face covered in scratches from her nails, she laughed, tears streaming down her face.
"Even if I hit you like this, treat you like this, you don't have a bit of anger? Do you not want to shout at me even once?" Jiang Meilin choked out the question.
Shen Mingfeng remained sitting still.
"Won't you say a word to me?" Jiang Meilin asked again.
Shen Mingfeng pressed his lips together and spoke, "I'm sorry."
"Haha, sorry? What are you sorry for? Why say sorry?" Jiang Meilin laughed hysterically, thinking Shen Mingfeng would at least glare at her angrily, at least call her a madwoman, shout at her, just like he did outside, in front of Qin Yin and the others.
But he didn't; he merely said 'I'm sorry' to her.
