Zhao Jingrong insisted on coming in to help. Just as she arrived, Mo Old Madam had two sweet potatoes to be washed. "Then you can help me wash these sweet potatoes. I'll go make the syrup."
"Alright." Zhao Jingrong rolled up her sleeves and walked over to Mo Old Madam. "Are you making candied sweet potatoes?"
"Yes." Mo Old Madam nodded.
Zhao Jingrong then added, "Why don't I peel the sweet potatoes too while I'm at it?"
"Sure, that would be even better."
Not long after, Ni Yang walked in from outside. "Mom."
Seeing Ni Yang, Mo Old Madam was noticeably delighted. "Yangyang! Yangyang is back!"
Zhao Jingrong felt a surge of dissatisfaction but couldn't show it. She managed a smile and greeted Ni Yang, "Sixth Aunt."
Ni Yang smiled and nodded back. "Jingrong."
Immediately after, Ni Yang rolled up her sleeves and said, "Mom, Jingrong, what are you working on? Let me help."
