"What time is it?" Ni Yang asked while yawning.
She had already gone to bed late yesterday, and Mo Qishen had tossed and turned all night. She barely slept at all—it felt as though she hadn't closed her eyes.
Mo Qishen swallowed and said, "It's still early."
Ni Yang curled back under the blanket. "Then I'll sleep a little longer."
Mo Qishen leaned over toward her.
"What are you doing?" Ni Yang asked warily.
"I didn't sleep well either."
Not long after, the room echoed with Ni Yang's curses.

When Ni Yang woke up again, she found herself alone on the bed.
There was no clock in the room, so she had no idea what time it was.
Ni Yang lifted the blanket, intending to head to the bathroom for a shower, only to realize her pajamas had been changed by someone. The bed, contrary to her expectations, didn't feel sticky or uncomfortable.
Ni Yang curved her lips slightly—it seemed Mo Qishen had a bit of a conscience after all, knowing to bathe her and change the sheets.
