Just as she felt her heart calming down a little, she looked up to see Xia Liyou sitting across from her, grinning widely. Next to her was Xia Ziqian, also wearing a similar smile.
Surprised, Luo Ai'ai leaned back and nearly fell over.
Once seated, she raised an eyebrow in doubt, and turned her head to look behind. Not far away, Ou Chengtian was sitting all by himself, looking in their direction.
She smiled awkwardly at him, turned her neck quickly, and looked at Xia Liyou, "Are you here for dinner too?"
Xia Liyou and Xia Ziqian both nodded. Their four eyes stayed fixed on her, their gaze locking onto her like she was prey.
"Oh, what a coincidence. Well, uh, I've already finished eating. You guys take your time. I have some errands to run, so I'll be leaving." Luo Ai'ai hastily grabbed her bag, ready to slip away.
"Sit down." Xia Liyou said, her voice heavy as she uttered these two words just as Luo Ai'ai began to stand up.
