Chapter 23: Interlude Christmas Special Part 2
Christmas Day.
Location: Space
The next episode starts with Martian Manhunter and the Justice League helping to save the planet and its people from crushing to another foreign Planet
The whole audience was in shock to see a possible doomsday event. They have seen Outrageous Storms, Volcano Eruptions, and Astroids almost destroying the planet Earth. They never thought it would be possible for another planet to destroy Earth, or in this case, another planet, if the Heroes didn't do something to save both planets the people from both habitats would be doomed to exaction.
The Heroes are listening to J'onn about what is happening and why another planet is headed to Planet A. "So J'onn is telepathing communicating with the people of the other planet in helping build." Melissa removed her glasses from the device that the Justice League was building. The would take centuries to even make this device that would benefit the foreign planet. "The Justice invention is nuts, but it's being made in front of her. She knows the bright minds of the I-Island League are making a machine that will stabilize the gravity of the other planet. So they wouldn't be floating to space thanking them somewhere unsafe and dangerous. Such as a black hole, a Sun, or another Planet."
The audience gasped at the reality in front of them.
"So the planet isn't attacking the other planet with their planet, but rather their planet is just floating in space for who knows how long!" Ochaco is shocked at what happening on screen. "How is that possible? How did that planet leave the rotation of their solar system?"
"I don't know?" Melissa replied. "I doubt the people of that planet know as well. However, according to Martian Manhunter, their scientist knows how to build a device to stabilize their gravity. For their planet to stop roaming around space. The worst case scenario they could have ended up at a black hole, a sun, or even another planet to their doom."
Her uncle asked. "So what would happen once the Gravity Stabilizer is built? Will the Milky Way have a new 9th planet?!"
Melissa wasn't sure what to say to her uncle. "I don't know, Uncle Might, let's just see what will happen once it's done being built by the Justice League. Because!" She pointed at the screen. "I don't want to find out if they fail. The Justice League holds the fate of both planet and their survival."
Melissa is right about two things.
In their universe. The idea of making a Gravity stabilizer is not ever even thought of. The second thing that both sides can agree, they were thankful that the foreign planet's people knew how to build such a thing. Martian Manhunter was able to guide the Justice League in building the machine due to the instruction of the foreign planet's bright minds.
They admit back in their world they cannot do the same to save the same planet as the Pro Heroes and the I-Island scientist. Due to the lack of material that is needed to create the machine.
Now they have their fingers crossed and hope the Justice League can save both planets from their doomsday.
00:48 - 01:23
The audience watches as Superman, John Stewart, Hawk Girl, and the Flash help together in building the Gravity Stabilizer to help out the foreign planet.
The heroes love how everyone is helping a foreign planet. A planet in which they don't have jurisdiction over helping them, but they do anyway. Their saving lives even outside of Earth is something that All Might and many others wish they could do too.
The Madame President is shaken to see a foreign planet with living beings on it. Her face may not show it, but she is horrid towards the idea of more alien life present outside the Milky Way. She knows about the Martians from her visits to Area 51, but to see more and outside their solar system. It's a lot to take in, there are more threats that the planet Earth is doomed even with the firepower they have with their arsenals and quirks.
Tenya loves seeing how The Flash and Martian Manhunter work together. Manhunter is sending out the blueprints to Flash's head telepathically, as The Flash presses the right buttons, playing the right wires, the rest of the machinery that Mei Hatsume would understand. Too bad she isn't here, either at the Fifth Dimension or near his dick.
He was glad that she wasn't here for both reasons.
01:23 - 02:15
The next scene was the moment of truth.
The Justice League activated the device after The Flash finished setting up the wires, and they watched to see that their hard efforts paid odd. They watch as a blue beam of light shoots to the stars covering the foreign planet and stabilizing their gravity to prevent this day from ever becoming a doomsday.
The Heroes and some villains cheered as the foreign alien thanked the Justice League for saving not just one population, but two populations of two planets. They truly save both worlds from catastrophic doomsday.
Both sides are happy to see a miraculous feat that they believed was impossible as much as seeing the Justice League saving the Earth from a Solar Flare. They were glad they were proven wrong and watched the impossible become possible.
Of course, Melissa is happy that it was science that saved both worlds once again.
02:15 - 02:37
Many agree with The Flash that saving two planets is one way to start a Christmas Morning.
The audience realizes that it is Christmas day in this universe, which makes sense because the previous episode had Batman's face against Harley and Ivy on Christmas Eve. The eve is over now they can watch the Heroes of this world celebrate Christmas Day.
Speaking of, Green Lantern decided to start the day in this snowy region. (I'm not sure if it's Earth or a foreign planet, it doesn't matter.)
The audience knew that this Green Lantern was John Stewart. They're just used to seeing Hal Jordan back in Earth Doom, and it isn't like The Team as a young Green Lantern. They recall that the two lanterns were teenagers. Tai Pham the Green Lantern after his grandmother passed away and the ring chose him, and Keli Quintela the Teen Lantern.
The students would love to see a young Green Lantern, especially Momo Yayaorozu. She wants to show she can shine as bright as a Green Lantern Ring, and she wants to know why a Green Lantern ring never chose her during their history lesson (Back at the Hall of Origin interlude. In case anyone is wondering.)
She has nothing to prove she is awesome, but there is a voice in her head nagging that she will never be enough, as a Green Lantern or Create.
Only Yosetsu notices that Yayaorozu is frustrated, but why?
They continue watching as Hawk Girl mentions he is joining John in this snowy region.
02:37 - 02:45
While Green Lantern and Hawk Girl enjoy the region. The Flash asks J'onn if he has any plans for the holidays. The Martian sadly said no, to him this day is just another day of the week.
Ibara was saddened for J'onn, and Reiko Yanagi understood. "It would make sense." the ghost girl said. "You have to admit even on Earth not everyone celebrates Christmas because of its ties towards Christianity. J'onn being from Mars, the Concept of Christianity and all of the stories from the bible never touch the red planet."
Ibarra lowered her head and thought of what her friend the atheist said. First off, she felt offended. Second of all, she has a point. True in the story of Creation based on her faith. God created Light, the sun, the stars, and the Earth. The many stories that the good book has stored. Such as the following, Adam and Eve, Noah's Arc, and of course the Birth of Christ making his birth the first Christmas. There was no bible story about the planet Mars. She knows there was no Martian version of Adam and Eve, Noah's Arc, and she knows that Jesus was born on Earth.
It would make sense there is no such thing as Christmas on Mars, and there is no reason for J'onn to feel excited or happy when it comes to the topic of Christmas.
She just has to swallow her pride and admit to her friend that she is right. "You were right Reiko. There is no Christmas on Earth, to him, this would be just another Wednesday." she sighs. "It is a shame though. It makes me remember our First Christmas together as friends, with Class 1A, and the little girl with the snow-white hair. I just recall the laughter and fun we all had that Christmas day. I just wish J'onn could feel the same thing as much as the little girl did, what her name… oh yeah, Anya."
"My name is Eri!"
"I wasn't talking to you, we never even met."
Reiko placed a hand on her friend's shoulders. "Ibara, you were thinking of Anya from that Anime, Spy X Family, as for the little girl, I believe only a few members of 1A know her, I think her name is Sharona."
Eri throws her hand in frustration and wonders why she has to do a who is more cute contest with another little girl from another Anime.
02:45 - 02:53
Ibara smiles that Superman smiles. She figures that Superman has Christmas plans for J'onn.
02:53 - Opening Credits. (For the first time, they going to see the Opening Credits.)
Bat-Mite flew in near the screen wearing a Tuxedo. He smiled at the readers for him to present for the first time to the My Hero Academia cast, the Justice League opening Credits.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I am Bat-Mite happy to present. The Justice League of Earth Dini, and no I will not be showing the Marvel Cinematic Universe opening Credits. I am not the Watcher, Deadpool, or She-Hulk. I am Bat-Mite!
A hook pulled out Bat-Mite off the screen. Knowing he would rant about the rival comics company.
The screen shows the silhouette of Seven Heroes walking towards the screen as breathtaking music plays in the background. The students recognize the Heroes based on each transition as heroes demonstrate what makes them unique.
The first one was Batman throwing a Batarag.
Wonder Woman deflects projectiles with her bracelets.
Green Lantern recites the oath to charge his ring.
Superman punches a hole in a wall and flies through it.
An Asian Dragon shapeshifting into a Martian Manhunter.
The Flash ran at high speeds, and lastly, Hawk Girl soared through the skies as sunset was behind her.
In the end, the Seven stood together in one line as the music stopped.
Izuku didn't notice that he shed a tear when he felt his cheek, but something about watching that video felt like nostalgia and hope. To him, it was like rewatching the video of All Might's debut. That feeling of being safe and secure is the same as DC fans feel when they rewatch the opening credits.
The emotion of nostalgia and recalling of one's childhood.
Now back to the reaction.
Opening Credit - 04:25
The first scene after the opening credits was John Stewart snowboarding using a green lantern solid light construct as a snowboard. Hawk Girl on the other hand didn't understand why he enjoyed the snow so much. He flies through space or the Earth's sky every day, and yet it was snowboarding that caused him to shriek for joy like a child.
Hawks chuckled. "If you put it that way, then flying would have been more thrilling than Sledding down a hill, but lighten up Hawk Girl. Let John have fun. It's Christmas, and yeah it doesn't change the fact that crime can still happen. Harley and Ivy ruined Bruce Wayne's Christmas Eve, but I wouldn't say the same with Batman, surely stopping the two Femme Fatales was a cherry on top." He said defending GL.
However, John wasn't offended. He let her know that sledding down during Christmas brought some nostalgia from his childhood. He mentioned when he was a kid his grandfather used to take him sledding by the hills at a neighborhood park.
The adults understood John, no matter what side they were. They were children once. They have happy childhood memories as kids. To have the Christmas spirit to stay as an adult is harder as they grow. It isn't the same as children. Sometimes adult Christmas Day is just another day of the week, and it is a sad reality. However, seeing John having fun outdoors with the universe's best toy wrapped around his fingers. He can have fun with the help of his imagination, in the literary sense.
Aizawa envies John. He would wish a day off from being Eraserhead. His type of fun isn't Snowboarding, he rather is with his girlfriend, and soon-to-be stepson, Hitoshi. Having Christmas Dinner. While they have to wear ugly Christmas sweaters he will never admit to his friends and students within or outside the walls of UA, that he has a secret love for Ugly Christmas Sweaters.
However, the idea of Sleigh riding or snowboarding with his stepson isn't a bad idea for bonding with Hitoshi.
04:25 - 04:57
Still not seeing why snow is so wonderful, John wants to try to change her mind about Snow.
His first demonstration was creating a Snowman with the help of his ring to make a Shove, buttons, stick arms, a carrot, scarf, and hat.
Yayaorozu chuckled. She wishes that she had done the same on her last holiday with her friends and the other girls of 1B. She is allowed thanks to her Provisional License to make snowman accessories.
John's next attempt to wow her was to make a snow angel, but Shayera just checked her back to see that she already has wings, The idea of Snow Angels isn't that fun, and many in the audience can see the resemblance of an Angel with Hawks and Shayera.
'It's still fun to make snow angels even with wings on my back. However, my case is different compared to her wings.' Hawks were curious to know more about Shayera.
(In case YOU never explore Thanagar lore or even Nth Metal. I have plans to explore Hawk Girl for the fanfic.)
04:57 - 05:19
Many giggled when Shayera was caught by surprise when she got hit by a snowball thrown by John. While the Green Lantern explained it wasn't a declaration of war but a snowball fight.
There was an aura of excitement as Green Lantern ready his ring, and Hawk Girl ready her mace.
Izuku and the others were curious to see that Hawk Girl carries a melee weapon, not just any weapon by a morning star mace. He already knows what makes Lantern Ring special during the history tour, but what makes her mace special besides hitting stuff very hard?
Mirko is curious about how well Hawk Girl does in Combat. Now, I am curious to face Hawk Girl in combat, and seeing her mace is a game changer. Shayera is a warrior while Rumi is hungry for the thrill of the fight.
05:19 - 06:23
The next scene is located at an Orphanage, and one of the Childcare Workers talks to the little kids talked to children mentioning that the guy in a red suit visited them. To the audience's minds, they believe it meant Santa Claus.
To the students, they love seeing the Christmas spirit of the children. The UA staff on the other hand have something else in mind. Yes, they enjoy the smiles of the little ones, however, seeing them reminded them of Eri and possible long-term solutions.
Right now as a short term, She is with UA to help her control her quirk, and once she fully controls her quirk, that is where reality strikes. Once she learns how to control her quirk, that would be the day her time at UA ends.
Keeping her there as an orphan wouldn't be fair for her. She will grow and want to live her life. The long-term solution is to give her the best chance. Even if isn't within the walls of UA. She would want a family to help her become a person, a woman. She would eventually hit puberty, and develop ambition for a future career. Of course, Eri has romantic and sexual feelings for a boy like Kota, Katsuma, or even a girl like Mahoro.
Eri's chances are unlimited if given freedom away from UA.
The scene continues as the man in the red suit. They arrived, However, they were not Jolly and Fat. However, he is Fast and has a sexy chisel pair of pecs. He was The Flash.
Many were surprised to see the Flash surprising the orphans on Christmas day. However, they learn from him that this is a yearly tradition and that the Flash does not just visit them. But also give him gifts
Stain and Spinner were happy to learn that the Flash helps communities such as an orphanage to help them get any new toy, ranging from video to sports equipment. The Flash probably even shows up at charity events and hospital visits such as SickKids and cheers up cancer patients who have been in hospital gowns for a long time and haven't felt the wind from swinging at a swing.
Stain almost shed a tear seeing that the Fastest Man alive has a big heart.
They continue to watch as the kids show The Flash a toy commercial for the year's number one toy. DJ Rubber Duckie.
Many aww at the toy seeing the Yellow Duck in rapper clothing and a few bling bling and dancing and Rapping along with two kids on his side. There was even a point in which the duck was playing musical farts. That made the student laugh.
It even made The Flash laugh and agree with the children that they get the toy from them.
06:23 - 06:37
They watch as the Childcare Worker warns the Flash not to get their hopes up. DJ Rubber Duckie is the number one most-wanted toy of the year. There would be customers and toy collectors who would hunt for the toy. However, the Flash ensures her that he can make Gorilla Grodd call their uncle. Getting DJ Rubber Duckie would be a walk to the park.
Stain is happy that the Flash will work hard to find a single toy. How hard could it be, he thought.
The Heroes and villains on the other hand wonder who Gorilla Grodd is. They assume it's a man in a gorilla suit or someone close to the physical build as the Villain Cheetah but as a Gorilla.
06:37 - 07:25
Location: Smallville
The next scene shifted to Smallville specifically the Kent family farm. The audience watches as Superman now dawns his Clark Kent identity rather than the boy in blue. He mentions that they're taking a day off and he wants to celebrate J'onn's first Christmas with Family, and if there is a crisis that requires the Justice League, Batman will let them know. He is currently on monitor duty on the WatchTower.
"So in a way the WatchTower works like 9-1-1 dispatch, it so weird to see Batman in the shoes of Jennifer Love Hewitt." Midnight giggles a little referencing one of her favorite TV shows.
"He is probably taking a break too, the previous night he did have to stop Ivy and Harley." Mount Lady added.
They continue to watch as Clark Kent and J'onn get welcomed by Jonathan and Martha Kent. Many adults chuckled when Martha Kent wondered why her son looked skinny. Watching Martha reminded them of their mothers wanting them to be nicely fed. It's different for the students who just newly moved in at the dorms. It's different when the parent visits their child at their grown-up home, or the child visits their parents. It's not like childhood in which you lived with them under the same roof.
They smiled that Clark Kent is close to his parents and takes time to be Clark outside of Superman.
The moment of awkwardness had come when J'onn went to introduce himself. The audience noticed he was nervous there was even a slip-up calling Clark Superman. However, Jonathan and Martha Kent welcome J'onn and let him know they're not strangers to aliens.
"It makes sense they did raise an alien as their son." Mount Lady chuckled loving the welcoming vibes in this home. Meanwhile, the Madame President noted that fact about Superman. He is not even from Planet Earth despite his physical appearance looking like an Earth-Human. Very different from the Martians and their green skin.
07:27 - 07:33
Afterward, the son of Kent asked where his cousin was. Thankfully Martha explained she went skiing with a friend from Gotham and wouldn't be back for a while.
Aizawa raised an eyebrow. "So Clark has a cousin?"
"Maybe she is related to the Kents, not to the House of El." Present Mic gave a good theory about the cousin.
Midnight let out her thoughts "Apparently, this cousin is skiing with a friend from Gotham. Sounds fun."
(I'm saving the reveal of Supergirl and Batgirl for the near future. Let the audience think there is a cousin from the Kent family tree. I wish I could mention Lana Lang being Superman's first love.)
07:33 - 07:50
Entering the teenage girl's room, J'onn let out his thoughts. He is surprised to see Clark act differently. He always interacts with him as Superman, but spending time with Clark Kent is different.
The Students and UA staff understood J'onn's query. It is different when talking to the Hero and the person behind the mask. The Pro Heroes know from in and out that UA understands they have lived under the mask and costume. Behind those closed doors are just people living a life. It's just like Superman has Clark Kent. There is also Keigo Takami, Shota Aizawa, and Toshinori Yagi. Sometimes their civilian identities are completely different from their 'Mask'.
07: 50 - 08:13
Once Clark left there was a moment with J'onn alone in the bedroom, which gave the audience time to think.
This is his first Christmas, a holiday that doesn't exist on Mars. They wondered what J'onn was feeling. He seems to be acting differently, perhaps uncomfortable being a guest.
They're not sure.
It's normal to feel uncomfortable trying not to disrespect the Kents. Maybe his emotions were deeper than simply a random guest.
To make the scene feel lighter there was an orange cat who came into the room, and J'onn tries to be friends with the kitty, but the Cat hiss at him.
08:23 - 08:33
The next scene has Shayera and John continuing their snow fight. They're allowed to use their mighty weapons, but not as their main arsenal. The snow is their sword, shield, and ammunition. There can only be one winner.
Many of the girls cheered for Hawk Girl seeing her tenacious energy and they love her war cry every time she hits something. Reminding them of All Might but instead of using the word 'Smash', she roars a war cry.
Green Lantern launched his enormous snowballs at Shayera, but she was able to smash her way through with the help of her mace. She was also able to make a shockwave when she hit the ground sending John to a tree.
Comedically enough he was showered by snow when he hit the tree.
However, Midoriya and Kaminari notice the surge of electricity from the Morningstar mace. They believe in two possible things. It's either Shayera can generate electricity or it's her mace can generate electricity due to technology implanted in the mace.
One thing is certain. Denki finds the mace to be badass, and it gives him an idea for support gear. Well, it's more of a new weapon for him outside the pointers that Hatsume made him.
08:33 - 08:50
The table had been turned against Shayera when dozens of green solid light-constructed hands popped out from the ground and threw their snowballs at her, causing her to surrender.
Toga laughed at the scene. "That reminded me of Day of the Living Dead." While Spinner raises an eyebrow, questioning what scene Toga is thinking of.
08:50 - 09:28
In the next scene, John Stewart is hoping he can turn things around for Shayera about the holidays, and during their conversation, there is a mention that Shayera isn't from Planet Earth, but from a planet called Thanagar, making Hawk Girl a Thanagarian.
"So she's an alien too." Aizawa rubs his chin as he absorbs the information about another alien race, and unlike J'onn J'onzz and his niece. She can almost be mistaken for being human. Well, human in terms of his world rather than in terms of Earth YJ. Shayera could be mistaken to be human, and Hawks could almost be mistaken as Thanagarian, if wings are the only thing that can differ towards a Thanagarian trait that can differentiate Hawks to be thought as a Thanagarian. Surely wings aren't the only trait there is to tell that one is a Thanagarian and a quirked human with wings.
In the conversation, Shayera, just like Martian Manhunter, doesn't truly understand the love towards Christmas, and to the cast, that was okay for them. However, to her understanding. She does understand the concept of celebration, and the snowball fight she just had against John. Reminded her of how her people celebrate after a great battle.
The mention of celebration took the attention of most of the audience. However, to the Madame President, it caught her attention more towards concern. She starts to believe that Thanagarians is a planet full of warriors, and the mention that Shayera and her people would go off the planet to celebrate gives off an unsettling thought. That the Thanagarians have easy access to travel to foreign planets.
That thought fears her towards the idea of a possible global invasion. She just hopes that the Thanagarians aren't warmongers. Her Earth would be so screwed if the Thanagarians were warmongers.
Putting the thoughts of the Madame President aside. The audience is pumped up to see where Shayera and the Thanagarians go to celebrate off-planet.
09:28 - 10:11
The next scene shifts back to the Flash running to the nearest toy store, before he reaches his destination he has a kid inside a car to make him smile, and donates a dollar to charity, and even gets a free candy cane afterward. Tenya and Stain liked those small moments giving charity and a smile to someone's day shows how great of a Hero the Flash is.
When he reached his first toy store the number one toy of the year, DJ Rubber Duckie was sold out. So he went to not just another toy store but six toy stores that were sold out of the number one toy.
"Six toy stores are sold out. Damn, this is some toy." Hanta commented on the absurdity of one toy.
"To the eyes of the world of business. DJ Rubber Duckie as a toy does a lot of unique dances and rap lyrics. It would get a lot of attention from kids from all around the world." Yayaorozu explained. "It would make sense the toy would even be sold out globally. There is a chance outside the toy itself. The character could be popular in media like cartoons and animated movies. Like how Donald Duck and Daffy Duck are popular with kids. To this world, DJ Rubber Duckie can be the number one cartoon duck, and ain't a sidekick to a mouse and a bunny."
The rest of the students think, what are other ways can The Flash get DJ Rubber Duckie to the orphans?
10:11 - 10:17
The audience took a step back when The Flash mentioned he could get the toy from the source, and that was when he was staring at a toy of Santa Claus.
Mina gulped as she said what everyone was thinking. "Is Santa Claus real in this world?"
Everyone has the same thought after the debunking that Magic and Aliens were real. The thought that Santa Claus is real is a strong possibility.
Toga broke the silence. "Alright, let's say he is real. Then the bastard owes me a Malibu Barbie Dream House, instead of 6 pairs of socks." she turns to the rest of the audience. "Let's face it, a pair of socks is Gen Z's coal. This is the 2020, not the 1600's. No one cares about coal, but they will fucking rage on socks. That fucking Bastard!"
The fellow villains shared a look questioning what Toga said. "She wanted a Malibu Barbie Dream House?"
10:17 - 10:43
The next scene showed the Flash at a Japanese Toy company holding out the last DJ Rubber Duckie in hand. It turns out the company's CEO is willing to give the Flash the last toy as a gift to the Orphans, and he is thankful to him and the rest of the Justice League for saving the world.
The audience let out a breath to see that the Flash wasn't visiting Santa Claus at the North Pole, but rather the Toy Company in Japan. They were glad that the CEO was willing to give the toy for free for the Orphans to be happy. Toga on the other hand threw her hands in the air hoping that the jolly fat man was real.
However, not everyone was thrilled that the CEO gave the toy to the Flash. It was a nice warm gesture sure, but the Madame President was focused on another topic. That being the Flash ran to Japan all away from America in mere seconds, and the Hero wasn't tired or hungry afterward. She had a feeling that the Flash would be as fast as Kid Flash, but she always compares Kid Flash's speed with Ingenium.
She was so wrong.
She just showed that the Flash just ran to Japan like it was nothing. The Scarlet Speedster is a terrifying threat, as much as Superboy back at Biayla when he just took those missile shots as if they were just a love tap.
She has to stay calm and see how dangerous are these so-called Heroes of the Justice League, and can her Pro Heroes stand a chance against them if ever they were a threat to her precious Society.
10:43 - 11:01
The next scene was a warmer scene at the Kent Farm. Martha and Jonathan Kent were talking about their old Christmas, they mention when Clark was growing up and developing his powers slowly. They would use Lead for his X-ray vision and wouldn't see what he was getting for Christmas that year.
Aizawa placed a mental note that Superman's X-ray vision wouldn't work on lead, if he can recall his old science lesson back in the General Studies that lead would be too dense for any x-ray technology to look through. That counts for Quirk users with X-ray quirks who wouldn't see through the material.
In theory, if Superman does go rogue and Aizawa ends up to face the Man of Steel. He knows his Quirk wouldn't work on Alien physiology and under yellow sun radiation. He knows he would need Kryptonite to harm the Man of Steel. To ensure any possible victories against a rogue Superman he would need the element of surprise, he believes that Batman already thought ahead and already has a lead container in his utility belt. Something he needs for future patrols as Eraserhead.
11:01 - 11:46
Many chuckled to learn that Superman still believes in Santa Claus. However, the next moment was with Martha, and she had a gift for J'onn. She mentioned that it is a tradition at the Kent household that they don't normally bring guests into their home during the holidays unless they have a gift to give to their guests.
Many smiled at sweet Martha at the very generous last-minute gift to J'onn, and she wasn't expecting any gifts in return. Just the fact that he is here celebrating Christmas with the Kents is the best gift J'onn could ever give to them.
She also mentioned the sweater was free, not from a store but rather from a knitting group at Smallville Community Centre. Though she doubted the size seeing it was too big for J'onn. However, J'onn was able to make everyone smile when J'onn used his shapeshifting powers to make the sweater fit on him, by making his current form more muscular and wider than usual.
Inko smiled as much as Martha. They were glad that J'onn truly loved the sweater.
(Line Break)
11:46 - 13:10
The next scene shifted back to Green Lantern and Shayera on the foreign planet that Hawk Girl mentioned. Many were amazed at seeing so many different alien species all at once, and for once they weren't human-looking like Shayera or Kal-El. One of them was a giant slug, one was resembling Star Wars' Jar Jar Binks, and one was Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. (The audience doesn't know anything about Marvel, but that was Groot behind Green Lantern.)
"This is where she relaxes?!"
"No, this is where she celebrates!" Hawks ensure All Might's concern. "Come on All Might loosen up, it's a party!"
He was right, it was a party, as they entered a familiar Bar that Shayera is popular for.
The crowd even welcomes Shayera by calling out her name.
"She's popular here!" Mount Lady smiled in glee. "I should join her next time in this foreign country."
Midnight may not always agree with the giantest, but partying with Hawk Girl sounds like a thrill.
Shayera might be the ideal party gal, but they wouldn't share her alcoholic recommendations seeing her prepare alcohol-containing worms.
Mina felt grossed out seeing the worm. She understood why Shayera would like it, and now it has nothing to do with the bird-like traits, but rather she is an alien. She has been through this planet and has mentioned her home planet including their ways of a warrior, it is expected that their diet is different compared to Earthlings such as John. Even though he is a Green Lantern he possibly eats the food provided by Earth only.
Which begs the question. What do Green Lanterns of Earth eat for long-period space missions?
13:10 - 13:36
Eyebrows were raised when Hawk Girl leaned over John, mentioning there was something she could do to make things more perfect. The audience wondered if she was flirting with John.
It was only when John leaned to, giving an idea to the audience that perhaps John and Shayera were more than teammates within the Justice League. They're not 100%, but around 50/50. Unless they learned more about John and Shayera's relationship being more than teammates. They're in the shadows.
They believed there were two flirtatious vibes between the two, but Sheyara meant something else. She demonstrates her ideal perfect evening, by hitting her mace at another guy.
"What the hell did she do that for?!" Jiro was shocked that Shayera had just randomly hit someone with a freaking mace.
Things went from confusing to funny showing that Shayera played innocent and placing the blame onto John creating a brawl at the bar.
"Am I seeing this right, or am I drunk like Uraraka." Jiro pointed at the Gravity girl and her arms around Tenya Iida.
Ochacho giggled as she sat on Iida's lap. She took a sip of her hot chocolate. "You know what would be so stupid if Iida and I make out? That would be so stupid." She hiccuped. "I dare you guys to dare us to make out."
Many of the students blushed towards Uraraka's drunken dare. They believe she would have done it while drunk and made out with Iida. Even the man of the hour is blushing as his peers; he just happens to be redder than them. But before anyone could speak, Uraraka passed out drunk for the rest of the episode.
"Well just happened." Toga chuckled seeing Uraraka's first drunk experience. "Let's get back to the Bar fight."
13:36 - 13:43
Seeing Shayera sip her drink. Many of the battle-hungry individuals cheered for Hawk Girl and hoped she enjoyed her bar fight.
13:43 - 14:04
The next scene shifted back to The Flash running back to Central City from his trip to Tokyo, he stopped his running when he overheard destruction happening at the Museum. The Hero and the audience meant the villain of the night, A gorilla-looking man with a huge head and his ray gun aimed at The Flash.
Izuku's book glowed as he read what was written to know more about this villain.
Ultra-Humanite
Real Name: Gerard Shugel
Status: Meta-human
Abilities: Genius intellect, Super strength, stamina, and durability
Ultra-Humanite was a genius scientist, who transplanted his brain into an albino gorilla to preserve his own life due to its immense strength. The mad scientist in his original body had a very weak body due to old age but genius-like intelligence.
The description alone reminded the UA staff of their Principal. Sure the students had met him, but the UA Staff knows Nezu more on a personal level. The only thing that truly compares their Principal with this villain is his genius-like intelligence. What they worry about is the possibility of how dangerous he is.
Kaminari and Ashido recalled how dangerous Nezu was, and the Recovery Girl was there to nurse the students and the teacher towards possible injuries. True, Midoriya and Bakugo had the worst injuries, but they were facing a buffoon in Chiyo's eyes, but the opponent of Kaminari and Ashido was a high-intelligent wild animal who is dangerous in his own right with or without a wrecking ball.
Chiyo thanked the heavens that Nezu was on the good side, but she prayed now for the Flash for his safety, Ashido and Kaminari were lucky to leave the exam uninjured, but there is no telling that the Flash will come out of the museum alive.
They're going to find out, in the here and now. Then later at Earth YJ.
14:04 - 14:27
As the Flash tries to hide from Ultra-Humanite aim. The villain lets out his explanation on why he is here causing the crime of vandalism to the extreme at the art museum, is because he doesn't care for Art. He sees them as a waste of human potential. He strongly dislikes the existence of art because it holds zero purpose for mankind's intelligence.
Many of course disagree with the villain, but rather giving out a lecture about why art does have purpose. They rather make fun of Ultra-Humanite as much as the Scarlet Speedster does. Mirko let out her thoughts. "Yeah, Humanite if you want to stop looking at this terrible art, perhaps prison is the best choice for you to keep away from the dumb art. You entitled albino gorilla, you can find the manager and complain, you bitch."
Hawks rolled his eyes. "Is that supposed to be a Karen joke?" She nodded. "Lame sauce Rumi."
14:27- 14:34
Once the clock fell on top of The Flash, Ultra-Humanite had a clear shot to kill The Flash. Tomura smiled, hoping that this was the end of the Hero. While most of the villains either yawn or check their nails for dirt knowing that Tomura is over his head.
14:34 - 14:50
"God Damn it!" Swore Tomura is angry that the scarlet speedster isn't dead, the other villains on the other hand.
"Honestly, I saw that coming, but I didn't see the Flash removing the batteries for his techno-pistol. Dabi was impressed by the speed of The Flash.
Tenya Iida agrees too. The Flash and Kid Flash have proven that they're not just fast on their feet, but fast decision-making. Spinning like a Tasmanian Devil against Mirror Master, and grabbing the C4 detonator away from Bane. Tenya has done awesome feats with his Recipro Burst and that is always been his family's trump card. However, after learning more from both Barry and Wally. He has to create a new burst against future foes or use his speed to save lives. He never knows that perhaps in the future he has to snatch away a C4 detonator from the hands of a future villain.
14:50 - 15:47
Many of the students were shocked when Ultra-Humanite accidentally landed on top of the toy from the beatdown. Now the toy is broken and those orphans won't have a great Christmas now seeing that DJ Rubber Duckie is badly injured.
"Oh no, those poor kids aren't going to smile when they see the toy. This is a bad Christmas." Mahoro said saddened for the orphans.
"No smiles, no Christmas. This is sad." Eri feels sorry for the Orphans when they see the toy that they want.
Izuku wonders what he can say to turn things around, but sadly he couldn't think of a solution to make things feel better. Just like Mahoro said, there wouldn't be any smiles today.
Then the audience listens to Ultra-Humanite and the Flash towards their views at Christmas. For Ultra-Humanite. He sees this holiday as a business ploy, and that the so-called Christmas Magic doesn't exist. To him, it's just a scam by businesses to use December to increase sales. There isn't anything magical about it. It's just snow and a pine tree with lights.
Sadly to the adults in the room from both sides. They see an Ultra-Humanite point of view. Not every adult is just like Clark Kent during the holidays. The Christmas spirit exists, but not as strong as it was as children, and it's a lot different for the Pro Heroes. Just like the Heroes of this world. Crime doesn't take a day off, even during Christmas. Batman is on monitor duty Christmas, instead of watching It's A Wonderful Life at Wayne Manor with Dick and Alfred. He is at the Watchtower.
True, this is not Earth YJ, but if the rules are the same at Earth Dini there is probably even a Team on Earth Dini. Robin and the rest of the team could be on duty during the holidays, or with their mentors. Like Green Arrow and Artemis for example.
However, the Flash sees Christmas differently from the eyes of a child. He mentions just like the Orphans today. He and Ultra-Humanite were young too.
Sure the villain's view towards the holiday isn't wrong, but the Flash isn't wrong either. They both viewed Christmas as magical. The idea of waking up happy and running downstairs to open presents with smiles on their faces was their past, but the Orphan's present.
The Flash hoped that by giving the orphans a gift every year with a single gift. He hoped that his actions would have turned out into a message to their young minds. For them to grow up goodwill like himself as they became adults.
Among everyone in the cinema, the one who shed a tear was Stain. He was moved by the Flash's words and actions. To think the Fastest man alive has a heart of gold. He visits the orphans every Christmas in the hope they are as great as a person as he is today. That is why he gives them gifts every year, from the most popular music album, the top video game, or even the toy of the year. He would get it for them. Even if it meant he would run the entire world to find the gift that the Orphans wanted. He will give it to them to make them smile and hope he can pass along his goodwill to them as they grow.
Stain, Spinner, All Might, Izuku, and Mirio see The Flash as their symbol of peace. He isn't just there to give smiles, but a message for the children of tomorrow.
15:47 - 16:02
Even with the wonderful speech that the Flash had given. He was knocked out by Ultra-Humanite.
"Well, that just happened." Toga is surprised as much as everybody else. "He just let him too… uh."
16:02 - 16:26
After the villain knocked out the speedster, they expected that the villain would easily kill the Hero, or take a longer-term by torturing the hero and doing unspeakable things behind the scenes, but no. They were surprised to see that The Flash was alive, and the villain took him to his laboratory. Not to be tortured, but rather to help him bring smiles to the orphans by fixing the toy.
Mirko rubbed her eyes twice to ensure she was seeing things clearly. "Am I dead, did I die and go to hell."
"Nope, you're still alive." Frank appeared next to Mirko. Knowing she and others would need help from him.
"You spike the hot chocolate. I know you Frank, you love to be stoned. Like that human friend of yours the one with the erection."
"You mean Chaz, yeah, He and I love to get high." The house plant chuckled. "This is real, all of it is real. I didn't drug up the hot chocolate fountain."
Mirko pointed out Ochaco Uraraka being passed out drunk in her seat.
Frank chuckled. "Yeah, she did that to herself. For a fifteen-year-old girl, I'm surprised she never heard of vodka before. But no, there is no alcohol, no illegal drugs, or sexual drugs. You all are sober, except for that bitch!" He pointed at Uraraka. "Ultra-Humanite is helping out the Flash. Maybe it's a good time to discuss it because I'm not giving any answers. So either talk and learn something, or suck a dick!" He forms his vines to form the middle finger. "Deuces!" Just like that the house plant disappears into the lobby.
Isuka sighs and says what everyone's thinking. "Is it just me, or do all of our hosts automatically dislike, except for a small handful, and surprisingly within that inner circle one of those people is Monoma."
Hearing that Kendo is annoyed Monoma decides to milk it up. "I don't know about you Kendo, but being in the 'Inner Circle' is way better than being out. I'm just glad that, unlike you Fat Hands. I have a fan club." He quo in surprise when he received a bowl of chocolate strawberries. "Things are better, thank you, hosts!" Itsuka tries to attack Monoma, but her peers stop her due to the rules of the 5th dimension. While Monoma nonchalantly ate his treats.
16:26 - 16:31
The discussion about villains doing good deeds can wait. They want to see more evidence, one villain doesn't change their belief one bit, but if more villains end up doing the right thing, then maybe their belief system will shatter. For now, this small act is a small crack.
They listen more Ultra-Humanite because it is the holiday. He decided on a truce to help out the Flash by not just repairing the toy but improving it as well.
The audience is dumbfounded by what they see in front of them, and Denki lets out what everyone is thinking. "Did Ultra-Humanite just surrender and now offer his help in fixing the toy for the orphans?"
"Not just that, improving it too. " Hanta commented. "Do you think it would go, boom?"
Frankly, it was the villain who replied to the Flash, and the audience. "Bitch please, it's Christmas." Alright, it may not be his words, but the audience understood the picture Ultra-Humanite is genuinely helping the Flash. This is a truce and his surrender for the sake of the holidays.
All Might and Stain smiled. This moment is hope for them. Just like The Heroes of this world don't need a plastic card to say that they're heroes. There is even a chance that perhaps the villains have that opportunity too. Not to say that they're automatically a hero, but that they're not 100% pure evil, just like how not every hero is pure good.
16:31 - 16:38
"Alright, I get that the Ultra-Humanite is helping the Flash. Which is still hard to believe, but why did you have to knock him off first?" Jiro asked the villain, and he responded that The Flash hit him first, it was fair to hit him back. Knocking him out was just that, he is physically stronger than the Flash in comparison.
"He has a point." Toga approves of Ultra-Humanite.
"What the Fuck is going on!" Mirko let out her cry confused about what was happening.
16:38 - 16:59
The scene shifted back to Smallville, and they watched J'onn at his density shift mode as he passed through walls like a ghost. The Madame President was surprised, back on Earth YJ his niece had never done a similar feat, only camouflage mode.
As the Mademe President thinks about how much of a threat Martians can be back in her universe. The rest of the audience continues to watch J'onn in his density mode. There was a sweet moment of Martha and Jonathan sharing a small kiss as they did the dishes. Inko sighs, hoping she and her husband can still share sweet moments when her hair turns gray alongside Hisashi. Maybe even have their wedding song play in the background as they do the dishes together.
When J'onn reached the living room he caught Clark being naughty trying to see through the Christmas presents with his x-ray vision, but wasn't able to. Due to the wrapper being made of lead.
Many chuckled seeing Clark Kent acting like a kid and wanting to spoil himself to know what he was getting for the holidays this year.
"The Martian just walked away like he saw nothing. L.O.L" Toga laughs seeing J'onn's reaction to Superman's lowest hours.
16:59 - 18:13
Back with J'onn, the hero decided to see Christmas outside the Kent home and roam around in his human disguise of John Jones. Even a cute couple was nice enough to greet him with 'Merry Christmas'. They don't have a clue that the man they just greeted is the Martian of the Justice League, yet they have the kindness to welcome J'onn warmly. Something foreign to J'onn. To see Humanities in their brightness.
"I'm happy for J'onn, I can't imagine what it is like to be in his shoes," Izuku said.
All Might is happy for J'onn to have a human disguise. He would be able to mingle and make human connections with the humans of this foreign planet outside the Justice League.
The scene continues showing J'onn walking quietly in a nearby neighborhood. He hears a cry from a little girl. She was frustrated by her brother challenging her belief in Santa Claus, and he heard it all by using his telepathy.
Aizawa raises an eyebrow towards J'onn, accidentally hearing the little girl's frustration. It was different when Megan accidentally read the mind of Conner. She thought that communication on Earth was by telepathy. He believed that J'onn was too relax and accidentally overheard their thoughts. Aizawa understood the accidental usage of his telepathy, but other Earthlings may not be that understanding. Especially with law enforcers back in their world, if the Martian ability isn't technically one would call it a quirk.
Maybe this is why their host only brings a small handful of people from their universe. Not everyone is going to process everything all at once, or possibly refuse to acknowledge the facts in front of them. It took a long time to acknowledge quirks to be accepted. It will take a while for non-quirk abilities to be considered to be classified as 'other'.
Not wanting the little girl to wake up disappointed because of a sibling argument about the existence of Santa Claus, J'onn decided to take matters into his own hands. He flew on top of their rooftop to make footstep noises. On the floor below, the audience sees that the girl is smiling, believing that Santa Claus is real, and that lie makes her very happy.
J'onn may not have presents to give, but the proof that 'Santa' was downstairs would be enough by taking some of the cookies. That happened to be Chocos, J'onn's favorite brand.
Mina aww loving how J'onn continues to give that little girl the Christmas wonder that is Santa Claus.
18:13 - 18:46
After his trip to Smallville, J'onn continues his stroll, trying to understand the human holiday of Christmas and its connection to the Christian religion as a church.
J'onn, being a Martian, isn't tied to any Religion that Earth has to offer. However, he understands the warmth of being together in a community. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, making the audience smile.
18:46 - 19:32
The next scene returns to Shayera and John at the bar fight.
Many of the underage audience members didn't understand the joy of a Bar fight, especially these UA Students who never had started a food fight before. The adults on the other hand understand the glory of bar fights.
Present Mic and Mount Lady are cheering the residents inside the bar. While Mirko is shouting for John Stewart to remove his ring, and just fight with his fists instead.
"Come on Johnny-boy, you can do better than just a shield with that ring!" Mirko laughed seeing the bar fight continuing to happen.
Inko chuckles, remembering her old college days. Years before she met Hisashi. She was a party gal before she was a mom. Mitsuki was a party girl too. She would party with the boys and girls back in college.
She chuckles as Shayera and John are in a pickle when the big blue guy is coming for them.
18:13 - 19:54
The scene shifted back to the Orphanage in Central City. The children were surprised, the audience was surprised too. The audience from both sides had large wide grins when they saw the duo. They were happy to see the Flash as Santa Claus, but it was when they saw Ultra-Humanite that got them grinning like a Cheshire cat.
Mount Lady fans her face. "This is the best thing ever. What the hell is supposed to be?"
Present Mic Chuckles. "I don't know if it's either Snowy the Snowman or Ebenezer Scrooge before he went home and changed into his sleepwear, but this is the best thing ever." He gasped in realization. "Should we do the same to Tomura Shigaraki, but as Rudolph?
"As a mascot, or as a sex thing?"
"Both!" Present Mic and Mount Lady laugh, while behind them Tomura is being held back by the members of his league. Trying to prevent the death of those two heroes.
19:32 - 20:34
The Flash wonders if the toy will blow up. The villain just rolled his eyes and activated the toy in front of the children.
"Brace yourself." All Might alerted the audience in case it was a bomb.
However, it wasn't a bomb, nor did it play musical farts, DJ Rubber Duckie told a story. They learned that Ultra-Humanite was able to record his voice to give the orphans a classic Christmas created back in 1892 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, the Nutcracker.
Midnight recognizes the story. This is the Nutcracker by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. I recall two years ago I assigned my students to read The Nutcracker as a reading assignment during winter break. When they returned I took them to watch the ballet as a school field trip.
All Might remembered this story. Nana Shimura took him to the same ballet way back in his youth. He recalled the story about a German girl named Clara who got a wooden nutcracker doll when she got it on Christmas Eve. Her Christmas toy came to life and waged a battle against the notorious Rat King.
Hearing the story once again brought back old memories of his dear mentor and mother figure. Now the orphans are hearing the tale for the first time. All Might smile to see that the orphans are paying attention to a great Christmas story by using their imaginations to picture the events. Rather seeing the story through a screen. The one who truly thanked outside the Flash was the villain of this day. Ultra-Humanite.
It was he who brought smiles to the orphans today, with the help of The Flash. True he is a villain and vandalizes a priceless art gallery, but Ultra-Humanite also showed his true colors. He isn't pure evil like his arch-enemy, All For One. Ultra Humanite showed there is a man behind the beast. He happened to be lost and just needed guidance and help. Thankfully the Flash was there to help him.
It was the Speedster's words that truly touched his heart.
Tomura was silent, not for the reasons most of the audience would think. He sees himself as an Ultra-Humanite. Misguided, no hero came to help him on the worst day of his life. When Tenko accidentally killed his family. There was a symbol of peace in their world but he didn't come. He wishes that the Scarlet Speeder did. The Flash slowed down against Ultra-Humanite, and his shield was down too. He opened up to the villain and spoke to him like he was just a person. No one did that to Tenko, just his senses did.
To Tomura, throughout the start, he would make excuses about how his League of Villains would beat the heroes of this world, and how they would outshine the Light. However, he decided to open his eyes and try to see them clearly and without a filter. This world and their society are different from the universe he knows, but he can give it a chance and see what this world has to offer.
Perhaps Tenko has a chance. It is never too late.
Toga shrugged. "It may not be the exact toy that they wanted, and I too would like a farting duckie." She looked at the orphans and looked back at Ultra-Humanite, they were both parties were smiling at this wonderful gift. It may not be what they wanted, but it is what they needed. Toga gave out her smile. "You know, I like this gift too, no farts and all."
20:34 - 20:59
Once the gift was delivered, Ultra-Humanite was true to his word. This truce is temporary. Once the sun is up it is back to his wicked ways. For now, because it is a truce, he will honor his promise by surrendering and being put in prison.
Hawks chuckled. 'Sure, this is unique, but I see this moment differently. Perhaps there is a chance not every villain is just like All For One, and the idea that villains are pure evil isn't true either. I'm not pure-hearted, especially towards what I did to Best Jeanist. This shows what I thought growing up isn't 100% true.' He chuckled thinking of his boss. 'Surely, this is painful for the president as well. To see her hard work can crack. When the whole world sees that the concept of the ideal villain isn't real. Once all that hard work cracks it wouldn't be long for it to shatter and beyond repair.'
He sighs, seeing Rumi's face in total disbelief. This shows that the Flash gave Ultra-Humanite a plastic Christmas tree, and the albino gorilla's true intention was to give culture to the young, not to blow them up. I wonder how she is handling the truth.
"What the Fuck is going on!"
'There it is.' Hawks sigh. 'You know the saying, Rome wasn't built in a day, and Rumi is one stubborn empire. Then again, she isn't the only one.' He turned to the guy sitting next to Mirko, and he too had the same reaction as her. 'Yup, Endeavor too. He has his stubborn empire. The UA students, on the other hand, They're young, and there is room to learn or to ignore. They're choices, I cannot make them choose. It's up to them now.'
20:59 - 21:27
When The Flash was about to leave, Ultra-Humanite turned on the Christmas lights. That's when Stain got off his seat and started running to the screen like mad man. "WAIT TAKE ME WITH YOU! I'll do anything, Join the Justice League, be Humanite's cellmate, vote democrat, Just don't leave me alone with these imbeciles and the fakes!"
Spinners start running as well. "TAKE ME TOO! I want to be Stain's Robin, I'll do anything to make love to Star Sapphire, Black Canary, Donate my blood. Just don't take me away from Stain!"
(Line break)
21:27 - 21:49
Both Stain and Spinner tripped when the scene shifted to the next scene.
"No!" Stain is on his knees. "Au revoir Central City."
Back at the Foreign Planet, it shows that inside the bar, it was completely trashed by the fight, and the residents in the rumble were still at the bar. Just now resting after a night of roughhousing.
Midnight chuckles. "Next time I'm coming with Shayera, she is the life of the party."
Aizawa shivers remembering the last time he went to a bar with Nezu. When he is sober he is an intelligent individual, it is when he is drunk he is a wild animal. Last time Nezu was naked on top of a roof yelling out an apocalyptic rant. Yelling to people it was 'The end of Days' and calling everyone 'bitches' during that rainy night.
To this day Aizawa has no clue where the Principal got those twin machine guns that he was shooting at the sky during his apocalyptic rants.
The students smiled to see that John and Shayera were resting. Some chuckled seeing that blue alien that Shayera hit her mace with, was with them. Cuddling the two like plushies.
Many of the girls aww when Shayera kissed John on the cheek, it was her way of giving her a good time and greeting him Merry Christmas.
Last scene.
The last scene shifted back to the Kent Family Farm, The sun rose to start the day, and when Clark woke up he went to join his parents in the beautiful morning that their guest had given. J'onn was there in his true Martian form and he was singing.
No one talked about his true Martian form. That however can wait for now they can just relax and joy the Christmas morning.
