The courtyard, brimming with spring's vitality, basked in the warm sunlight, which fell upon the long bench and the sleeping woman, dispelling the bitter cold.
At the back of the bench, the Moon Goddess remained unmoving, her white robe immaculate, resembling a holy statue.
A small red dot appeared not far from the bench, rapidly expanding and beginning to spin. A blood-colored vortex appeared beside the bench.
A white finger bone extended from the center of the vortex, holding a transparent test tube, inside which an exquisite green liquid gently swayed.
"Long time, no see." Xiao Tai emerged from the vortex, "You've had a tough time during this period. I intended to come earlier, but it got delayed until now."
The white sphere of the Moon Goddess's head gently turned, "If there's nothing else, I'll take my leave now." She said, then turned around and left.
