However, although both the Human Race and the Fallen Elves chose to respond at the first instance of Burrow Spiders' attack, the fact that they had been suppressed by the Burrow Spiders for countless years caused morale to drop even before the two sides engaged in battle, despite their strength not being inferior to the Burrow Spiders at that moment.
Both the high levels of the Human Race and the Fallen Elves carefully calculated the situation and believed that, even in the worst-case scenario, they could fight to a both sides suffer outcome with the Burrow Spiders. Given their comparable strength, they felt confident to face off against the incoming aggression.
