After crying for a long time, she finally noticed something was wrong. She sniffed, loosened her grip, sat up, looked at him somewhat awkwardly with her eyes red, and said, "Thanks for earlier!"
He gave a slight smile as a response. He held his right shoulder with his left hand; he had hurt it when he jumped out of the car. The pain spread across his entire right back, and he feared it might be a bone injury or perhaps a dislocation.
After checking himself, he sat up straight and relaxed his body. Once the pain in his right back eased a little, he lifted his right arm and rotated his shoulder.
A "click" sound rang out, startling her. She screamed, "Did you... are you injured?"
"It's okay now," he said lightly. After setting it right again, the pain had lessened compared to before.
"It made a noise earlier, could it be broken?" she asked cautiously.
He let out a silent laugh, "Not really."
