Amanda Smith slightly turned her head and saw Samuel seemingly smiling. His smile was faint and under the bright lights, it looked a bit hazy.
She stood up, her long train trailing on the floor in elegant, sinuous waves.
"Samuel."
She slowly walked over and stood in front of him. Samuel Johnson felt unexpectedly excited, his fingers trembling slightly.
The fact that Amanda Smith was going to marry him was something he had already come to terms with. After all this time, he wouldn't normally feel so thrilled.
But now, as she walked toward him in her wedding dress and stood in front of him, he couldn't control his emotions. An indescribable thrill surged through his heart, his excitement so intense that his eyes even reddened slightly.
"Samuel?"
Amanda, standing in front of him, looked at him with a slightly amused expression, "Why are you crying?"
Samuel Johnson quickly wiped his eyes, not feeling any moisture, and got a bit annoyed, "Who's crying?"
