It was only when the sky outside turned grayish-blue that Sophia Carter finally managed to fall asleep.
She didn't know how much time had passed. She was awakened by the noisy sounds of children playing. She got up, took a shower in the bathroom, and realized that her previous clothes smelled too bad, hesitating whether to wear them again. A knock on the door came from outside.
Soon after, Amelia Clarke's voice sounded: "Sophia, are you awake?"
Sophia Carter put on a bathrobe and went to open the door. Amelia Clarke stood outside with a serene and gentle smile, "I knew you'd be taking a shower, so I found you some clothes I haven't worn. I think we have similar body types, you should be able to fit in them."
"Thank you." Sophia expressed her gratitude, "And thank you for taking me in last night. I hope I didn't trouble you?"
Amelia smiled: "It's all good. Breakfast is ready. Come over and have some. Where are you heading afterwards? I can give you a ride."
