"Finn knows, I'm a person who prioritizes romance over friendship. Going to drink with you isn't as appealing as dining with Viola." Joshua lazily leaned back on the sofa, casually resting an arm on the back where Viola sat, radiating a hint of flirtation with his nonchalant gesture.
Hearing Joshua's address to Viola, Finn's smile slackened a bit.
"Viola? You two are close?" Finn sat down opposite Joshua.
Joshua replied, "Viola and I hit it off at first sight."
"..." The pressure around Finn seemed to drop considerably.
"Viola!" Another enthusiastic male voice came over, and Viola's head suddenly felt like it was going to explode.
Skylar first greeted his brother and Joshua, then plopped down on the other side of Viola, saying excitedly, "Didn't expect to see you here. Are you acquainted with Big Brother Moreland or Mrs. Richardson? Or perhaps a relative of Big Brother Moreland? It seems I've never seen you at a Kingston Banquet before."
