The heavy doors of Sebastian's study slammed against the wall with a loud bang.
Sebastian looked up instantly from the pile of documents spread across his desk.
For a moment he simply stared.
Because standing in the doorway—eyes blazing with determination and hair slightly disheveled from how fast she had walked through the palace—was Aliena.
She marched into the room like a storm.
The guards outside glanced at each other nervously but wisely decided not to interfere.
Sebastian slowly leaned back in his chair.
"Well," he said calmly, though his eyes carried clear surprise, "that entrance suggests something is wrong."
Aliena walked straight toward his desk.
She didn't stop until she was standing right in front of him.
"You're going to explain everything."
Sebastian blinked.
That was… direct.
He folded his hands together slowly, studying her face.
