Hannah's eyes swirled around, thinking about the little puppy standing next to Laura, a gleam flashed in her eyes.
"Do you want to know?"
She leaned closer to William, her mischievous gaze growing brighter.
William grabbed her arm with some distaste, pulling her to the side, and turned to walk towards the house.
"Don't you really want to know why Laura hasn't come back yet?"
Hannah followed him inside, casually closing the door.
William glanced at her and said flatly, "Speak."
"You first tell me, what is your relationship with Laura?"
William knew Hannah too well, and therefore didn't bother to respond to her.
"If you don't want to say it, I'll ask her myself."
As she finished speaking, Hannah tapped her phone and handed it to him.
William's originally calm face instantly adopted a bit of a cold expression.
