"Olivia! Olivia? Are you ready yet?"
At that moment, Thomas Smith's voice sounded outside the bathroom, startling Olivia Smith back to reality.
She squeezed her phone tightly, put it into her bag, quickly switched it to silent mode, stood in front of the mirror, adjusted her facial expression, and responded.
"I'm coming out, Thomas."
When Olivia came out, Thomas was standing outside with a worried look on his face.
Seeing her come out, he finally breathed a sigh of relief, "Feeling better?"
"I'm fine, Thomas. You don't need to worry."
Thomas saw that her complexion was alright and finally felt at ease, saying:
"Mom is waiting over there, we've bought almost everything. Let's head back first."
"Alright."
After being disturbed by Carter Quincy, Olivia had no mood to continue shopping. She returned home with a heavy heart, took out her phone to see that Carter hadn't called again, barely sighed with relief, yet still felt a lingering sense of unease.
