"Hmm."
Adam Jones nodded in response, then circled around her and walked into Elly Campbell's office.
Elly Campbell, seeing her own "clingy little charmer," chuckled softly and said:
"What brings you here?"
"Looking for my wife."
He walked up to Elly Campbell, leaned one of his long arms on her desk, and said:
"May I have the honor of having lunch with CEO Campbell?"
Elly Campbell glanced up at him and said:
"No honor granted."
"I'm already here."
Adam Jones sat down in front of her, propping his chin with his hand as he looked at her, much like an innocent mountain white lotus.
"Honey, you don't love me anymore."
"..."
Elly Campbell didn't even look at him and simply said in a mild tone:
"Don't be dramatic."
The tone of disdain made Adam's face look even more aggrieved.
A moment later, he handed her the small envelope he had in his hand.
Elly Campbell looked up at him, took it, and asked, "What's this?"
