Because Bai Ruozhu had used the Waterproof Pearl earlier, her face and head were dry. Only after she put away the Waterproof Pearl while standing in the Water Prison did her clothes get wet from the waist down, so the Prince didn't guess that she had taken the 'back door' and assumed she had broken in by force.
"Don't worry, I have a secret exit. I'll take you out." Bai Ruozhu didn't need to speak. She just had to slow down so he could read her lips clearly.
The Prince shook his head, "I can't escape. I don't want to drag anyone else down."
His condition was really poor; he had trouble even forming words and was gasping just making mouth shapes.
Bai Ruozhu didn't waste time with more chatter and said directly, "I was the one who stole from the treasure vault and got you falsely accused. If you don't leave, I'll knock you out and carry you out myself."
This time, the Prince didn't dare say anything more; if he were knocked unconscious, wouldn't Bai Ruozhu have to carry him?
