Jiao Ling came to visit Bai Ruozhu the next day. She was in much better spirits and looked calm and composed.
"Ruozhu, are you feeling tired?" Jiao Ling asked with concern.
Bai Ruozhu shook her head with a smile, "No, I just stood for a while, it's nothing."
She wanted to share her suspicions about the Fen Gu with Jiao Ling but held back, fearing it might again disturb Jiao Ling. Swallowing her words, she thought it best to bring it up later, especially since these were just her suppositions and not conclusive evidence.
"Fen Jiu and I are planning to return to the Jiuli Clan soon." Jiao Ling suddenly said.
Bai Ruozhu was taken aback, "Aunt, didn't we agree to return home together after my mother completes her confinement?"
