Olivia Parker smiled. "No, my parents are both in Bitterford. I'm the only one in Ebonmere."
"Oh, so that's how it is. Making your way in the world alone, that's not easy." Seeing how low‑key she was, the person naturally assumed Olivia's family background was average, and immediately started to work that angle. "I wonder, what do Miss Parker's parents do?"
"They're... just ordinary people." Olivia said lightly.
"Who here isn't an ordinary person? Tell us about it." Director Smith joined in, "I really am curious what kind of parents could raise such an outstanding daughter like you."
Director Smith's words sounded nice, but it was nothing more than resentment in his heart.
His own daughter was only an associate director, a notch below the other woman, so he wanted to find some sense of superiority through the parents.
Olivia's tone remained mild. "My dad also works at a Hospital, my mom is in an art troupe."
