"Lawyer Jane, make sure to cherish your time in court today, as it will be your last."
"Mr. Kasper, are you threatening me?"
"Threatening?" Kasper Edith chuckled softly, "No, I'm just informing you, that's all."
With that, he raised his hand to embrace Olivia Parker and strode off.
Jane Bell stood frozen in place, her face turning a livid shade of anger.
"Lawyer Jane," the Assistant stepped over, "it's only two minutes until the court session starts."
"I know!" Jane Bell retorted irritably, returning to the Waiting Room where she saw Jocelyn Kim standing by the window with her arms crossed. She walked briskly up behind Jocelyn Kim, "Miss Jocelyn, have you thought it through? Is there anything you need to tell me?"
Jocelyn Kim turned her face, her expression domineering, and poked Jane Bell's chest with her right hand.
