The judge announced a temporary recess, and Jane Bell immediately took the tear-streaked Jocelyn Kim out of the courtroom with her assistant.
Reese Harris turned her face, gently breathed a sigh, and walked back to her seat. Oliver Palmer had already poured her a cup of water and brought it over.
"Thank you." She took a sip and glanced at Kasper Edith, "You guys should take a break too. I'm going to the restroom."
"I'll go with you."
Olivia Parker volunteered and walked over.
Oliver Palmer and Kasper Edith returned to the waiting room to rest, while Reese Harris walked down the corridor with Olivia Parker.
Passing by the plaintiff's waiting room, they vaguely heard a woman's crying and cursing inside.
"It must be Jocelyn Kim." Reese Harris continued forward, entered the restroom, and immediately closed the door tightly. "Olivia, keep an eye out for me; I'm going to call Ezra."
