Kasper Edith took the laptop she pushed over to him, seriously looking at the information on it until he had read all of it, only then did he divert his gaze.
"I don't want the child to appear in court."
In the courtroom, the lawyers on both sides sharply argued. Such a scene should not be seen by a child.
Reese Harris nodded, "Unless it's absolutely necessary, I'll try my best to protect the child from having to testify."
Standing up, Kasper Edith extended his hand towards her.
"Lawyer Harris, I'm counting on you."
Reese Harris also stood up, clasping his hand and speaking solemnly.
"I will do my utmost."
Kasper Edith's phone rang, so Olivia Parker got up to see Reese Harris out.
All the way downstairs she finally spoke up.
"What are the chances of success?"
"If the person upstairs performs well in court, my chances are about seventy percent."
Olivia Parker felt slightly relieved.
