Olivia Parker had finished her shower and was standing at the bathroom door blow-drying her hair.
Kasper Edith walked over, took the hairdryer from her hand, and carefully helped her dry her hair.
During this time, he was unusually quiet, neither taking advantage of her nor speaking.
In the room, there was only the low hum of the hairdryer.
Olivia Parker looked up and saw the man's face reflected in the mirror.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm great!" Kasper Edith smiled back at her, setting down the hairdryer, and leaned in, gently kissing the back of her neck, "Next time I come back, I'll avoid your period."
His tone returned to its usual teasing and carefree manner, and while Olivia listened, her heart ached.
Turning her face, she reached out to hold his shoulder, "I've prepared the bathwater for you, take a soak and get a good night's sleep."
"Olivia baby, you're so good to me... Okay, I'll go bathe, wait for me!"
Kasper Edith pinched her cheek and walked into the bathroom.
