Raising her right hand, she suddenly struck with her fist.
Her hand, usually holding a knife, was slender yet powerful, and she hit just the right spot—directly at his stomach.
With a single punch, Kasper Edith felt a sourness in his throat, and the yogurt he just ate almost came back up.
Olivia shook her hand.
"Sometimes I let myself indulge in a bit of violence too."
Kasper rubbed his stomach where she hit him, smiled as he stood up straight, and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her back into his embrace.
"This is the happiest day I've had in seven years, thank you!"
"Now that you've said that, let go."
In his arms, Olivia's voice sounded a bit muffled; it's no wonder, being held like this was making it hard for her to breathe.
"Just a little longer," Kasper whispered, his arms slowly tightening, "just a little longer... Good girl, don't move!"
