The little guy hugged his car and stood at attention, saluting her.
Olivia Parker steadied his shoulder, while Kasper Edith carried the ordered meal. The three of them went upstairs to find a window-side seat.
Osbert Montgomery had already eaten at kindergarten, so he wasn't very hungry. Before taking his seat, he eagerly tore open one of the toy car packages and squatted on the floor to play.
Watching him kneel and bow, Kasper Edith merely frowned.
"The floor is dirty..."
"Just wash up and change clothes when we get home." Olivia Parker handed him a drink, "He's just a child. Don't hold him to too high a standard. A child who's perpetually spotless only shows a personality issue."
Kasper Edith's eyes flashed with a peculiar shade.
In his memory, his childhood was just like that.
His clothes were always impeccably clean, acting courteously and politely. From head to toe, he was almost flawless...
