"Oliver." Kasper Edith lightly shook the check torn in half in his hand, "Do you think Jocelyn Kim really wants to raise Little Ting?"
Oliver Palmer gently shook his head.
"A leopard cannot change its spots. If she came back a little earlier or a little later, I might believe she has feelings for the child, but right now, it's hard for me to trust her. Besides, if she really wanted to see her child, she would have figured out a way to do it, rather than always coming to your office, don't you think?"
Kasper Edith nodded; he felt the same way. He took a deep breath and stood up from his chair.
"I won't let her have her way."
Oliver Palmer walked over with a cup of coffee, his gaze falling on Kasper Edith, who was slightly startled.
It was only now that Oliver Palmer noticed that Kasper Edith was wearing a new suit today, with a new shirt and tie.
