A moment later, the door was pulled open.
The man stood inside wearing only trousers, his upper body bare, as if he was about to take a shower.
"Something you need?"
"Returning this to you." Olivia Parker handed him the crystal ball.
The man lowered his dark eyes, glanced at the crystal ball in her hand. "I never take back what I've given away. If you don't like it, you can toss it."
Olivia Parker found it somewhat amusing yet frustrating.
"Alright then, sorry to bother you, goodbye."
She withdrew her right hand that was holding the crystal ball and turned to leave.
Her wrist tightened as her arm was already pulled by him.
"I don't mind if you stay!"
"Not interested."
Olivia Parker replied calmly.
The man smiled, then released her arm. Olivia turned back toward her room.
"Olivia."
The man's voice sounded behind her, she stopped, turned her face to look, only to see him standing inside the door, smiling at her with a mischievous, mysterious, and alluring grin.
