After her run, Memoria made herself the simplest breakfast—oatmeal with a sandwich. To call it a sandwich is a stretch, really, it's just bread with egg and ham and some vegetables. She truly wasn't great in the kitchen.
If it weren't for Leng Xiaoxie insisting that those convenience foods weren't healthy and refusing to buy them for her, Memoria would definitely have relied on them as much as possible.
After finishing breakfast, she tidied up the whole room. Then she took the bedding from the Guest Room, where Leng Xiaoxie had slept, and hung it out on the balcony. She was just about to go to the Study Room to continue reading the criminal psychology book she hadn't finished yesterday when her phone started ringing in her pocket.
The screen showed an unfamiliar number. Memoria raised an eyebrow and answered the call.
"Is this Memoria?"
"That's right, this is she."
