Lucas Walker frowned.
"Ivana?!"
"See you tomorrow morning, Mr. King."
Ivana Bennett raised her eyebrows and turned to walk towards the door.
She had just taken a step when her arm was grabbed, and then she was pulled into his embrace.
She struggled but couldn't break free, and she glared at him with her little face upturned.
"Lucas Walker, you bully people."
"I'm just hugging the woman I love, and she's my wife, so it doesn't count as bullying."
"Darling, did you hear that? Your daddy is so shameless."
Lucas Walker licked his neat white teeth with his tongue, "I clearly have 32 teeth."
It's always the most amusing when a serious person cracks a cold joke, and Ivana Bennett couldn't hold back and burst into laughter.
Wrapping her arms around his neck, she winked playfully at him.
"Husband, are you done with work? Maybe... we could go to bed?"
As she spoke, she moved closer to his neck, and Lucas Walker quickly leaned back.
"Don't always play that trick."
