"Really?" Summer Gardner immediately put down the notebook in her hand. "Who is it, what do they do, how did you meet, how old are they..."
"Come on, I've finally got a day off, can't you let me have a moment of peace?"
Summer Gardner gave him a side glance. "I can't interfere with you young people having a free love life, but I'm your mom. I have the right to know, don't I?"
"Absolutely, you have the right!" Logan Bennett reached out, hugged his mom's shoulder, and held out five fingers. "I promise you, at most five days, I'll bring her back to see you, okay?"
Summer Gardner squinted slightly. "You mean it?"
Logan Bennett nodded solemnly. "I mean it!"
"Five days, if we don't see her in five days..." Summer Gardner slapped the notebook in her hand at him, "You obediently meet all the girls listed in here!"
Taking the notebook, Logan Bennett casually tossed it onto the coffee table.
