The Duchess had to care for the old king, Adam Walker had work to do, and Logan Bennett was too busy to even find time to go home.
As for her mother, Summer Gardner, Ivana couldn't feel at ease leaving the child with her given her mother's personality, and her brother Byron Hallock had just received a new training assignment, leaving him with no time either...
After thinking it over, Ivana couldn't think of any place safer than the Royal Palace.
It seemed that the only solution was to have the bodyguards intensify their precautions; there wasn't any other good option.
"I'll strengthen the security at the Royal Palace. We can only keep them there."
"Shall I stay to take care of them?" Olivia Parker said seriously.
"But..."
Olivia raised an eyebrow, "The plane and car trip takes over ten hours. Do you really have the heart to send me away first thing tomorrow morning?"
