Ivana Bennett cried.
Tears streamed down her cheeks and nose, flowing into her mouth, yet they were not bitter.
Because these tears were not tears of pain, but of happiness.
Tears of happiness are sweet.
Letting the tears flow, Ivana Bennett didn't make a sound for a few seconds.
On the other end of the phone, Lucas Walker listened carefully to the slightly heavy breathing and somewhat hurried inhaling coming through the receiver. He could guess that she was crying.
"Ivana?" He called her name tenderly, "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, I'm just too happy," Ivana Bennett choked up as she spoke.
"I'm already on XX Avenue, at most ten more minutes and I can be back."
"Alright, I'll wait for you."
"Then I'll hang up now."
"Okay, see you later!"
Ivana Bennett hung up the phone, took several deep breaths before calming her breath.
Her assistant looked at her, somewhat at a loss.
