Whispering softly, Lucas Walker carefully searched around.
Noticing a toolbox tossed in the corner of the room, his face lit up with joy and he immediately dragged it out and opened it.
Inside the toolbox were various tools and a flashlight.
This was truly an exhilarating discovery.
Lucas Walker took out the flashlight, pressed the switch, and a bright beam of light shot out immediately.
He quickly turned around and followed the condensation pipes to look for the drainage pipes.
This was the basement, so the drainage pipes shouldn't be too far from the main pipe. If he could find the main drainage pipe, he could escape underground.
Finding the drainage pipe didn't take too much time. He quickly used the tools from the toolbox to dismantle the drainage pipe, but Lucas Walker encountered a new problem—the pipe below was too narrow.
With a main pipe only as thick as a thigh, it was impossible to fit his tall body inside.
