"Here you are!"
The door to the Study Room was pushed open, and Sally Dalton stepped out, "You're awake?"
"What were you doing in the Study Room?" Nathan Leafcastle asked suspiciously.
"Oh... nothing, I was just... tidying up some documents. Well... you should go freshen up, and I'll go check if breakfast is ready."
"Okay."
Sally Dalton hurriedly went downstairs. Nathan Leafcastle watched her back, raised an eyebrow, and stepped into the Study Room. He glanced around and his gaze fixed on the desk.
Walking over, he picked up the USB drive and reached out to turn on the computer.
Noticing the wine glass on the table, Nathan Leafcastle raised an eyebrow slightly.
It was a wine glass, with faint traces of red wine at the bottom, and they were fresh. Nathan Leafcastle picked up the glass and observed it, his brows furrowing.
He hadn't been drinking; this was clearly the glass Sally Dalton had used. Sally Dalton wasn't a heavy drinker, only drinking alone when she felt down.
