Irene Spencer sat on one side, and the lawyer, Mr. Zhang, sat on the other.
"What did he say?"
Mr. Zhang shook his head, then took out a document from his briefcase and handed it over.
Reaching out to hold the document, Irene Spencer glanced down at the cover page. It was clearly marked in black letters on a white background — Notice.
Irene Spencer raised an eyebrow, opened the document in her hand, and after just a glance, threw it back onto the table.
"Nathan Leafcastle, you are ruthless!"
The document was a legal notice from the Barker Group, informing her to immediately compensate the Barker Group, otherwise "Barker does not rule out the possibility of taking legal action." The implication was clear that if she didn't pay, Barker would sue her.
Mr. Zhang was silent for a moment at the table before speaking deeply.
