"Nothing much, just getting ready to take on the Jade River project to prevent a cash flow interruption," Kris Cooper replied.
"That's good."
With that, he hung up Kenton Maverick's call and then made similar calls to several other friends. After those calls, he had already secured at least two billion in cash flow, so even if Barker's funds were to fall through, he could handle it.
After doing this, he called the finance department, instructing the Finance Director to redirect previously arranged cash flow for his use.
"But... if this money isn't brought back, we won't be able to manage if we're taking on the Jade River project!"
Kris Cooper smirked; he wanted this kind of illusion, making them think he couldn't manage such a large sum of money.
