After her blood draw and urine test, Vera waited outside the ultrasound room.
The ultrasound room was crowded, many of them noticeably pregnant women.
Some were accompanied by their elders, others by their husbands...
Only Vera Wave stood alone, looking desolate.
One of the waiting girls noticed the document in Vera's hand and nudged her husband.
"Get up and offer her your seat. She's pregnant too."
The young man hurried to his feet. "Oh, sorry, I didn't realize."
After thanking him, Vera sat down. She really was exhausted after running around all day.
"Judging by your appearance, you must be newly pregnant?" the girl asked enthusiastically.
"Yes, that's right."
"Why didn't your husband come with you?"
"He… he's busy."
The girl smiled and advised, "This is your first time, so it's a bit better, but in the future, make sure you don't come alone. Running around for all these appointments, you won't be able to manage by yourself."
"Yes, thank you."
"It's my turn!"
