Her little heart gave a sudden shiver. Apart from her underwear, only a thin layer of goosebumps prickled her skin from the extreme surprise.
She quickly grabbed the blanket to cover herself, trying to recall what had happened.
She only remembered beating Harry Snowpine until he fell to the ground, then going out to eat with Kris Cooper and having some drinks. But then... everything went blank. Surely, I didn't... didn't do *that* after getting drunk with that guy, did I?!
At the thought of this possibility, her heart started to race once again.
She lowered her gaze again to carefully inspect her body. Despite not feeling anything particularly different, there was a noticeable pink mark on her chest. No matter how she looked at it, it seemed like... a hickey.
Vague fragments of memory began to surface in her mind.
