A moment later, the call connected.
"Hello, this is the Logistics Department."
An unfamiliar female voice sounded from the other end.
"I'm looking for Vera Wave."
"Please hold on." Yola Dowry, who answered the phone, immediately turned her head. "Vera, it's for you!"
Vera got up in confusion. It was only her first day of work. Why would anyone call for her?
"Hello?!"
"I want the couple's private room on the second floor. If you don't secure it, this month's funding will be deducted!"
On the phone, the man's voice was domineering and direct. Before she could speak, the call disconnected.
Vera frowned slightly, then slapped her forehead.
She almost forgot; that guy had asked her to reserve a table at their restaurant!
After hanging up, she glanced at her watch. It was already 11:38 AM.
"Song, what time do we get off work?"
"11:45. We have lunch, then start again at 1:00 PM."
Seeing it was almost time, Vera quickly grabbed her bag and made some brief preparations.
