Alan Morgan saw the guilt written all over Shirley Grant's face.
"This is between us, it has nothing to do with Shirley Grant!"
Alan spoke up immediately, unwilling for his mother to drag Shirley Grant into these matters.
He and Shirley Grant had just been through so much to come out on the other side.
"We're going to bring Gerry Peary back right now. If you stop me again, don't blame me for being rude."
Gerry Peary was his son, and he didn't believe he didn't have the right to bring his own child back.
Hearing Alan's words, his mother immediately rushed over to block their path.
"I won't allow it. Alan, I'm telling you, Gerry Peary will stay with us, you're not allowed to take him away."
His mother immediately refused, firmly disagreeing.
The noise in the living room quickly reached the study,
where his father was still angry, his face looking very displeased.
He immediately came downstairs, surprised to see Alan holding tightly onto Shirley Grant's hand.
Damn!
