Maxwell Peary paused, his heart suddenly softened.
His entire heart was filled with Nia Mitchell's words, and he sat beside her, reaching out to grab her little paw.
"I won't let you leave either."
He was confident that no one could separate them.
Even if that person was fate itself, he would defy it.
Nia Mitchell's face was full of smiles, her cheeks rosy.
"Alright, then you have to protect me forever, so that I won't leave."
Nia's tone was light, giving an impression of her very good mood.
"Okay."
Maxwell Peary nodded, solemnly agreeing.
The two of them chatted and laughed along the way, quickly arriving at the new house the Mitchell family bought.
"It seems to be on the 8th floor, apartment 802, I think."
After Nia got out of the car, the smile remained on her face.
"Hmm, let's go up and have a look."
Maxwell Peary held Nia's hand and directly headed upstairs.
"Alright, uncle, should I call dad and tell him we've arrived?"
