Alan Morgan's gaze left Shirley Grant feeling somewhat exposed.
"Shirley Grant, explain why you did it."
Alan Morgan frowned, not believing Shirley Grant could be such an impulsive woman.
"No reason. I just didn't like her, so I splashed her."
Shirley Grant stood there, looking defiant, allowing everyone to point and gossip about her.
"Special Assistant Morgan."
Nia Mitchell suddenly stepped forward. Even though she couldn't make sense of Shirley Grant's actions, she believed it was indeed Phoebe Walker who had instigated this with her provoking words.
"Hmm... Yes?"
The normally icy expression on Alan Morgan's face changed slightly. Seeing Nia Mitchell approach, he also reined in some of the chill radiating from him.
"It's nothing. I just wanted to say that I think the fault here doesn't lie with Shirley Grant; it's that Phoebe Walker's words were too nasty."
Even someone who doesn't care about their reputation would probably get angry after hearing that.
