Maxwell Peary was taken aback, clearly not expecting Nia Mitchell's reaction.
That morning, when he entered his Office Room, he sat in his chair thinking about the recent changes, and he did indeed smoke a cigarette.
What's wrong?
Does she dislike smokers?
"Uncle, you haven't answered me yet."
Nia Mitchell's cheeks puffed up. She had never seen him smoke before, nor had she smelled any tobacco odor on him.
She presumed he didn't smoke. HMPH!
"Yes, I smoked one earlier, but I rarely smoke."
He had to clarify; he was not heavily addicted to smoking.
Nia Mitchell pursed her lips. She used to firmly declare that her future partner would be a nonsmoker, wouldn't drink Wine, and wouldn't gamble.
But then, Fiona Sutton criticized her for several months, talking about Ceza's Wine culture and how the dining table is where business deals are made, and so on.
She could accept someone who drank less Wine, as long as they weren't addicted to Wine.
