Hendry Hampton was taken aback. His mother surely didn't expect Nia Mitchell would still dare to contact me, let alone try to take back her own belongings.
He initially wanted to leave directly, but this thought suddenly made him halt his steps.
"Mom, I just remembered I have something to do. Can you go to the Royal View Villa on my behalf and pick up my grey suit for me?"
As Hendry spoke, he handed her the keys.
Mrs. Hampton hesitated for a moment. She had a banquet to attend later.
But from home to the Royal View Villa and back should take about an hour, and the banquet wouldn't start for at least another two hours.
She had enough time. Since her son made the request, she would run the errand.
"Alright, but remember to come home early. Your father has placed you under house arrest."
Her son had returned earlier this morning, greeted with nothing but a cold face from his father.
