The moment Maxwell Peary heard the door open and saw it was Nia, the ice in his eyes instantly melted, replaced by a silent, doting affection.
"Mrs. Peary, pleased with what you're seeing?"
Maxwell Peary deliberately paused while dressing, standing there bare-chested.
Nia Mitchell awkwardly averted her gaze, lifting the coffee cup to her lips to hide her nervousness.

This was Nia Mitchell's definition of Maxwell Peary. Who else would strip naked during office hours if not an exhibitionist?
Maxwell Peary's lips curved as he approached Nia Mitchell, reaching out to lift her lowered head.
"If you keep looking down, you'll dunk your head in the coffee cup. Besides, if you're drinking this coffee, what am I supposed to have?"
