Before she could say anything more, the call was already disconnected.
Aurelia Wood anxiously called back, but there was still no answer.
Thinking about Arthur Baker's serious tone earlier, Aurelia's mood became heavy.
It seemed that Arthur wasn't going to divorce her so easily.
She put away her phone, deciding not to dwell on these bothersome matters for the moment. After tidying up the living room downstairs, she boiled some water, planning to prepare medicine for Kevin Gregory later.
As the water boiled nearby, she stood there lost in thought.
Even when Kevin Gregory came downstairs, she was completely oblivious.
Kevin waved his hand in front of her face, and she snapped back to reality, realizing he was already down, "Why did you come down?"
"What are you thinking about? You seem preoccupied."
"It's nothing." She smiled, "How are you feeling? Are you uncomfortable anywhere?"
"There's nothing wrong with me, no need to worry. I'm perfectly fine."
